  2. How to honor deceased family members at a wedding?

So my fiance and I are getting married July 2010 and I am trying to think of creative ways to honor our deceased family members. I have lost 2 grandfathers, 1 grandmother and an aunt. He has lost a grandfather and an uncle. I was thinking of getting pictures of each of them individually and having a table with an empty seat to represent each of them. In front of each chair will be their photo. Then since we are having a beach theme wedding I was thinking of include a ton of burning candles on this table. Just not sure if this is a good idea or if it is a little too much.

  3. Any good ideas for a beach wedding reception?

We are going out of state to get married on a beach. We're expecting maybe 30ish people to attend, so we don't need an elaborate reception party there, we're having one when we get back home. So what's a good idea of what to do after the ceremony? If we rent out a room in a restaurant, we'll have to pay for 20 peoples food and alcohol, that would be too pricey. Ahh, I'm so confused. Any help would be appreciated!

  6. What bags to use for candy buffet at wedding?

I have decided to do a candy buffet table at my wedding for the favors. I would like to put a container or bag at each chair with a note inviting them to visit the candy buffet. What is the best choice for a container or bag? I want something that they can close so their candy won't spill all over the place once they get back to their seat. And I'd like something that will match my light blue color theme. And something that will hold about 4 oz of candy. Any suggestions?

  12. Anybody ever had a small wedding ceremony on a beach?

My girlfriend is from Romania. She will be coming back to the states to be with me and we are planning on getting married. She always talks about the beach and everything. So, I thought maybe we could just go to the local county clerk to get the license, then drive down to the beach and get married. Her family of course is in Romania, so there really won't be anyone from her side of the family, so we are probably going to keep it pretty small. Then maybe after we are married we can travel to Romania and show her family. Any ideas or tips about beach weddings? Thanks.
